NDS First Growth is a family run business specialising in the recovery and salvage of Western Red Cedar.

From our extensive knowledge of the construction industry through our family building company, George & Harding Construction Ltd, we recognise the huge waste factors we deal with every day.

Timber used in construction which has been discarded, is in some cases re-usable and with this in mind we are developing a market for recovered cedar.

NDS has been working closely over the past 3 years with small local enterprises in British Columbia. We are now establishing a market for the recovery and utilisation of Red Cedar rejected by the original lumber industry at the turn of the 1900s.

NDS is able to offer good quality products produced from the vast amount of usable cedar originally left to deteriorate as it was not deemed good enough at the time of felling!
